Two year after the audioguide tour of the cathedral, there is now one available (in French and English) for upper Laon. 33 monuments are commented with a description of the structure as well as any interesting details about it. After renting your audioguide at the Tourist Office you will be ready to discover the history of the city via the 3 tours (you choose) available with the audioguide – a tour of the Bourg, the Cité and the Villette – at your own pace in any order you like. Remember children ages 8 to 12 can (re)discover the heritage of Montagne Couronnée (Crowned Mountain), as there is an audioguide intended specifically for them. So, off you go to uncover the secrets of this city, which was once the centre of the Carolingian Empire!
