Village du Vieux Craonne
Totally devastated by the 1914-1918 battles, the village of Craonne was not rebuilt on its former site. As a memorial, an arboretum was planted on those 17-odd stricken acres. The area's undulating aspect is a reminder of the extreme violence of the battles.
