Avenue de l'Hôpital
The abbey is located in the heart of St Gobain forest. The former mother abbey was founded by ST Norbert of Xanten in 1120. The present buildings in the main courtyard were rebuilt in the early 18th century. Reconverted into a mental hospital, it is now only partly open to visitors: gardens, chapel and monumental stairway.
