Sentier des Froids-Culs
A real “bit of countryside in the city”, once planted with vineyards, this vast wooded area is one of the city’s most characteristic natural features. It is hemmed in by both arms of the upper city, and continues to be one of the most appreciated places to go for a stroll in the city. It can be reached by different paths called “steep climbs”, and one of them, the panorama staircase, opens onto the Chenizelles fortified door. There is also a hiking path, the Goutte d’Or, which crosses it.
