Place d'Aix-en-Provence
The construction of this church began in the 13th century, and it has several distinctive features:
- its nave only has two rows of benches; destruction during the 100 years’ war.
- its chancel is connected to two lateral chapels set at a 45° angle (layout also found in the churches of St Michel’s in Thiérache, Braine or even Chaudardes).
Inside there is also a large sculpture of Christ (16th), and outside, a large memorial inscription (15th), to the left of the western gate.
