From the pretty Roman and Gothic Eglise de Guignicourt, this walk starts on an old railway before turning into farm tracks bordered by fields of asparagus, tobacco, potatoes, vines and more. After venturing through the pleasant undergrowth, the sugar refinery in Guignicourt, which you can spot on the way back, is a reminder that Aisne is the beet-growing capital of France.
