Hauteurs du village
Towering over the villages of Pancy and Colligis, this monument was erected by the Germans in 1915 to pay tribute to the combatants, regardless of their nationality. After the war it was vandalised, particularly the eagles adorning the sides of the monument. Since it was located right across from the Chemin des Dames it was also used as a look-out post thanks to a cavity below the pedestal. In the near future, this atypical monument will undergo specific preservation work.
