Created in 1982, the county school museum helps visitors relive school as it was in the early 20th century. A classroom has been recreated with its blackboard and large period maps, its books, wooden desks with inkwells in which students would conscientiously dip their quill. Audiovisual presentations show the atmosphere that reigned at the time. The tour of the museum doesn’t stop there; a room packed with treasures will allow you to discover the characteristics of the Republic’s teachers, moral and civic teaching, its tools, photographs and authentic reproductions.
