Run by the same family for the last 70 years, the restaurant is located on the edge of the forest of Samoussy where the eponymous village is the birthplace of “big-foot Berthe”, daughter of the count of Laon and mother of Emperor Charlemagne. The Relais Charlemagne is a stopover not to be missed.
