On a white platform, placed in the center of the audience, three performers from the visual arts, circus, and theater first appear in an almost mundane setting, like familiar figures whose presence seems nothing out of the ordinary.
Without ever giving in to the temptation to moralize or succumb to pathos, Claudio Stellato offers a sensitive and artistic interpretation of social deprivation. He invites us to shift our perspective, to question our representations of marginality, and to explore both its gray areas and its potential for growth.
As the performance unfolds, bodies transform, situations spiral out of control, and a tension builds. The performers gradually slip into a liberating and intoxicating madness, where points of reference disappear and chaos seems to take over.
Yet from this instability emerges the unexpected: a fragile and unsettling beauty at the heart of the disorder of the “strange.”
