Discover the photographic collection of the General Inventory of the Hauts-de-France Heritage, created in 1979 and still being expanded today.
From religious, industrial, and public architecture to urban, rural and seaside heritage—from Gothic to contemporary architecture—the exhibition explores the diversity of the region’s heritage, photographed across different eras. It thus invites visitors to view inventory photography as a major scientific tool for documentation and analysis, as well as for transmitting and shaping our perspective on and collective memory of our heritage.
