The preservation of local history books has been a constant preoccupation of successive generations of librarians who have assumed responsibility for their management.
For a long time, the main focus was on the durability of the documents, with aesthetics not being considered an essential criterion.
From conservation boxes in permanent grey cardboard, suitable for newspapers, to brightly colored full morocco bindings for remarkable works, this exhibition allows us to discover the local collections through several decades of contemporary rereading?
