Guillaume Chiron revisits the images and stereotypes associated with youth and sport with humor and irony.
Through collages, sculptures and offbeat stagings, he questions body ideals, hygienic approaches and dream performances, drawing on retro imagery from the 1950s to 1980s.
With Jeunesse et Sports, standardized bodies, slogans and dreams waver under the effect of collage, offering a playful reflection on contemporary social and cultural transformations.
