A native of the Marne region, Mauro Corda is a world-renowned sculptor whose studio is located in the small village of Monthiers, in the south of the Aisne. Working around the representation of the body, he has created a series of sculptures based on masterpieces (various Greek and Roman statues, Michelangelo’s David, Rodin’s The Thinker…) and Pop Culture characters such as Superman, representing small people. A redefinition of these famous figures of our culture to change the public’s view, questioning the relationship to difference and inclusion?
