A committed and sensitive photographer, Kenia Sadoun explores memory, life stories and the profound links between inhabitants and territories. She presents “Maldives Disorder, le tourisme à tout prix”, a documentary investigation into the impact of mass tourism on landscapes and societies, and “Océan”, a poetic reflection on the traces left by the passage of time.
Invited for a residency-mission in Laon until December 14, 2025, Kenia lives and works in the heart of the area. For three months, Kenia will develop participative photographic projects in cultural, social and educational structures. Her approach places photography at the service of links, collective memory and shared experience.
This residency is part of the qu(art)iers program supported by the DRAC Hauts-de-France, in association with the Préfecture de l’Aisne, the Académie d’Amiens and the Lycée Julie Daubié.
