The new work on ice by Quebec-based company Patin Libre, created using complex algorithms enriched with choreographic intent, is inspired by the mysterious phenomenon of bird flocks, those hallucinating aerial ballets known as “Murmuration”. On the ice, the fifteen skaters, fascinating in their rigor and grace, reproduce these aerial ballets that oscillate between almost imperceptible micro-movements and instinctive changes of direction. High-flying, vertiginous skating that’s an adrenalin rush for the whole family!
