march 22, 1794: the bourgeois revolution of 1789 is long gone. There was no longer any king or church, and war was everywhere, on the frontiers and in the heart of the country. The spiral of violence and terror had begun.
Danton and Robespierre, the two giants of the Revolution, meet for a final showdown. Their confrontation will decide the future of France, but also their personal futures.
In the shadow of the guillotine, a fratricidal struggle begins around the values of liberty and equality, illuminated by a mad hope for fraternity.
