In partnership with the association “Des id%E9es plein la terre,” the Aisne Council for Architecture, Urban Planning, and the Environment (CAUE) is offering a tour of a home that was renovated by the owners using bio-based materials.
Valentine and Jordan, the homeowners, embarked on the renovation of their village house, choosing to use bio-based and geosourced materials. Their house is insulated with straw and earth, cork, and wood fiber. The walls consist of wood-frame structures filled with cob and handmade adobe bricks, and a lime-based floor slab was installed.
Meet in front of the house at 10 a.m.! (Duration: 2 hours / Capacity limited to 20 people, by reservation only)
