This cemetery was built on the outskirts of the village of Craonnelle in 1920, and is home to just under 4,000 soldiers who fell in the fighting on the Chemin des Dames (including a few British and Belgians).
Every year on April 16th, the cemetery hosts a night-time remembrance ceremony….

In September 2023, the cemetery will be listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site…
