This monument brings together in the same tribute the combatants of the Great War, of 1939-1940 and of the Resistance. It is dedicated to the memory of the dead of two units of Alpine hunters, the 27th and 67th BCA, and was erected in 1947 on the site of the headquarters of Lieutenant Romieu who was killed in this place on June 6, 1940.
The surroundings of the monument are equipped with tables and information panels, and it can only be reached on foot (about 15 minutes walk after parking on the heights of the commune of Braye-en-Laonnois)…
