On April 16, 2013 was inaugurated on the eastern tip of the California Plateau, an emblematic place of the Great War, a tower-observatory with a height of 20 meters freely accessible. It allows a historical approach of the landscape and reminds the importance of the high points during the war.
It also gives visitors who climb it an incomparable view of the village of Craonne below, but also of the Chemin des Dames and the plain of Champagne…
Please note that in case of bad weather, the access to the floors of the tower is closed to the public.
